If your having trouble buying someone a gift, send them a text: “I finally got your present! I wonder if you can guess what it is?? Hint: It’s one of your favorite things. :)”
If you close a tab and need to reopen it: Ctrl + Shift + t gets it back
If someone is not paying attention to your conversation, say something that is absurd or makes no sense: “My cat is actually a fish” etc. If they notice, they are listening, but if they keep acting uninterested, they really aren’t listening. If you really want to keep talking, compliment the person. Putting the spotlight on someone makes people pay attention.
Business tips: Sell something people want and need, assign where “the bucks stops” – if something goes wrong, have definitive answers about who is responsible, and train people to take extreme responsibility for things, truly listen to those who are unhappy with your company/product, develop new products, get feedback – test your products, etc.
